LOCATION: We are in a great central location, within metres from the bus and train stations, banks, restaurants, shops and just a few minutes drive from the biggest Aquapark in Europe.
Hotel Urkmez is a great value in a great location in Selcuk, but what really sets Urkmez apart was the great staff. Jimmy and JuJu both went out of their way to help make our stay a great one. From rides to attractions to cooking up a delicious feast for about 15 people one evening, they went above and beyond. Highly recommend.

"If you are looking for moderately-priced friendly accommodation in the center of Selcuk,I highly recommend the Hotel Ürkmez .The two brothers who own the Hotel are the best kind of Hosts,knowledgeable,warm and helpful,who take a keen interest in the welfare of their guests.The rooms are modest but have ensuite facilities with balconies and superl views over the town and Castle and nesting Storks. Breakfast on the roof Terrace is inclusive in the price and is a wonderful feast of honey,yoghurt,cheese,bread,oliven,cucumber,Turkisch Gözleme and a plattery fresh fruit"...

"An absolutely delightful find! The Urkmez hotel is situated right in the heart of Selcuk and within easy reach of all the main sights. It has very well-kept and clean rooms in a quiet part of town. But what make this a tru'y special place to stay is the attitude of the guys running the place. Nothing is too much and they will go out of their way to make you feel at home. Their motto of "come as a guest, leave as a friend" is well-deserved. Of all the places in Selcuk to stay this has to rank as one of the best and good value too. It's all topped off with a huge breakfast on their roof terrace complemented by stupendous views of the citadel."

We had a great stay in the Ürkmez hotel which was the best value-for-money hotel we have had in Turkey. The friendliest staff, clean rooms, excellent breakfast (with great variety) and a nice rooftop terrace. On the the terrace is also a bigscreen tv with dvds, good place to chill after a long warm Ephesus day...
